    Transformer voltage

If a 240VAC to 24VAC transformer is hooked up to a 208VAC electrical system, can I expect to see approximately a 10% reduction in output power as it is receiving approximately 10% less input voltage?

It's a 10 to 1 transformer so you can expect the output to be 20.8 volts

This is why most 240 volt transformers have a tap for 208.

To add to transformers in a question.
How often have you seen ungrounded transformers? Its been hit or miss a handful of times. Specificly when u need to hold a leg on common to follow the voltage to be clear.
If so have you added a ground to one before i havent tried?
    Any thoughts?

Many older furnaces, usually the pilot type, are set up that way. I do not ground them, leave them original.
