Attach procedure for Schneider alvitar vsd to Carrier LEN

    Hi all

I have currently replaced 3 x schnieder alvitar vsd with genuine OEM parts on a French carrier Model 30RBSY120A0002
Sn M2013030484.of which communicate via the carrier LEN.

After replacing the drives I have now been advised that I need to perform a attach procedure for the new drives to communicate.

My question is how I go about carrying out this procedure any information would be greatly appreciated

Think it's only the Danfoss VSD that requires the attaching procedure.
Schneider is just plug and play. Just verify the config is similar.

Nope not only danfoss but schnieder drives also require to be attached see below email from Carrier France technical support

You will have to make the “ATTACH “ Procedure
You will have just to take care about the unit software when you replace the drive, IT IS MANDATORY TO UPGRADE UNIT SOFTWARE
    BY HIGHER VERSION THAN 3.3

Depends on number of circuits if only 1 circuit or 2 circuits if 2 then you will need to attach the drive to the correct circuit you should find this in service configuration. Your software is ok so no issues there.

Apologies I was looking at a 30 RB,
Look in Maintenance / DRV_CTRL menu you will see the "attach" at the bottom. It's either set_drv = 1 for A or 2 for B
All drives should be switched off except the drive you wish to attach.

Same procedure as you did for fans but now set_drive =3 for variable pump. Remember to switch off fan vsd's while attaching pump vsd.
    Glad to help.

Also water pump vsd fan failure keeps coming up then reset itself, tried attaching vsd over and over by making it number 3 but no success.

I also found cond fan vsd not starting or running when using quick test menu on touch pilot.

Checked all drive settings command mode cond =2 (serial communication)
frequency mode fnod =4 (serial com ref)

Any other tips would be of great help

Turn mains power off and back on again all vsd faults appear and are unable to reset only way to clear alarms is to re attach the vsd 1 at a time.

    Something weird going on here
