    My understanding is the humidity and heat will go through the air handler into the hot room where there will be a duct sock in the room. The utility room is about 10ft from the hot room.

    I do not, and I am not 100% sold on that brand as I know nothing about them.

    Have you used fabric duct before?
    Are you aware that they require laundering as part of their maintenance? I had a pool room where the conditions were kept at 87*, 55% RH and the brand of fabric duct they used required removal and cleaning every 3 months.
    This is a specialized type of room and setup. The application and sizing will mean much more then any brand name will.
