    Haughs fireplace

When I take the plate(glass pane) off the flame on the thermopile is good, but when I put the plate ( the glass pane) back on, the thermopile flame is reduced, therefore not engulfing the thermopile for proper operation. Are there any tricks to increasing the pilot flame? There doesnt seem to be a pilot adjustment screw, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You should have the unit serviced by a hearth service professional. Unfortunately, we cannot give DIY advice in this forum. If you provide the model of the unit we might be able to provide some information and make suggestions for your service provider.
