Factory Installation Manual written by ~ANONYMOUS~

The Rheem installation manuals for the latest split units has no mention of the manufacturer. Even on the drawing name blocks in the back there is no mention of name of manufacturer.

Except in really small letters on the front you can see the ISO9001 certification number and the little squiggly square digital camera thing probably mentions Rheem and a website.

Even the drawings that show the unit installation and everything show the generic housings having no name tags to identify the manufacturer.

Seems a little weird to me but I guess lawyers must rule the free world. Why would they not be proud of their trademark and company name and of their manuals and not want to imprint that image into the minds of technical people that install their product? Why are they hiding their identity?

Well I guess I can understand it ~NOT~
like General motors hiding their corporate identity on all of their documentation because Cadillac and chevy and gm all share the same hardware so you should keep the mother ship's identity secret.Even if i don't understand it I can accept it and move on.

When I conceive create and design refine and fabricate and guarantee something I want my name on it.

    But thats just me.
