Air handler vibrating when heat pump in heat mode

Had a customer call me about a Trane AH causing heavy vibration when the heat comes on, when the unit is in cool mode it all works well with no vibration.. I ran the heat pump in cool mode and disconnected the orange reverse valve outside and immediately it starts to vibrate at the air handler. Im thinking replace TXV with check valve still under wareanty. Both indoor and outdoor coils were clean as well as air filter and blower wheel

OD fan max amps rated .74 actual .7
Capacitor was rated 40/5uf and tested the same

    Indoor was 70F

I didnt take SH or SC..I also spoke to Trane tech support and he also told me that he would suggest replacing the Outdoor TXV and filter drier

Ive had a changeover valve not complete its travel and create a hammering type noise/vibration. Did your pressures bounce around at all? Amperage at O on valve coil wire? I had to dig a set of analog gauges out to catch it.

I finally found the issue..homeowner had a different company replace the compressor and they never put back the rubber mount legs and the idiot thought that the muffler was a filter drier and removed it and added a second filter drier

I would have had the homeowner call them with you present and have them come fix the problem they created

I'm curious why the rubber mounts were only a problem in heating mode

This is a base model Trane heat pump they kinda make noise during heat mode, the amps increase during winter time causing the motor on the compressor to vibrate and produce noise especially refrigerant pulsing thru discharge line

Same way a dirty condenser increases head pressure, amps and compressor becomes noisy..remember theres a filter inside when the evap becomes the condenser plus its warmer when heat is on during winter season. Ive always noticed that during my check ups on most systems when checking outdoor unit

I don't know about all this.....

the idiot thought that the muffler was a filter drier and removed it and added a second filter drier
But on Trane, this will cause pulsations/vibrations for sure...

I thought the vibration was at the Air Handler?
