    Trane Binding view issue

    I can connect to the ch530 but I can not get into binding view..keeps saying failed IPC3 connection

    Are you on com1? I’m confused how can you connect but have a connection issue
    Honeywell you can buy better but you cant pay more

    Yes I can connect to the ch530...this error only shows up when I try to go into binding view

    There is a issue in the comm link.

    Start from the board and check all your LLID and wiring

    Use a southpole magnet and check sensors. If they light up, you have 24vdc present but may have a comm issue. If you find one that doesn't light. Start there. But the issue is within the harnesses or module.

    Put a magnet on all devices. If they light up, you know you have 24vdc to them.

    Next would be checking comm link between them.
