    First batch of venison jerky

First time on the pellet grill. In the past I've only dehydrated it in the oven. I've got about 2-1/2lbs ground up to make chili this weekend...stay tuned

    awfully time consuming.
    We vacuum seal everything.
Just opened a pkg. of sausage from last year. no freezer burn and the seasoning gets in the meat better!
It was laying behind some other things in the freezer, or it would have been gone! Good stuff!
remember, with electronics; when its brown, its cooking and when its black, its done!!!

I like the tube for all my smoking. It’s nice to have heat control separate of your smoke. Although 2.5# will yield some nice snacking you better hide it before the grandson shows up

I've been using the same recipe for years. Since this was the first batch in the pellet grill, time was just a guestimate. Flavor was great. Probably spent 1/2 hour to an hour too long. Was a little dry. Next batch will be 3 hours instead of 4.
