Are you talking about this letter? I see nothing wrong with it...simple and to the point.

    THE WHITE HOUSE

    WASHINGTON

    October 9, 2019

    His Excellency
    Recep Tayyip Erdogan
President of the Republic of Turkey
    Ankara
    Dear Mr. President:

Let's work out a good deal! You don't want to be responsible for slaughtering thousands of people, and I don't want to be responsible for destroying the Turkish economy — and I will. I've already given you a little sample with respect to Pastor Brunson.

I have worked hard to solve some of your problems. Don't let the world down. You can make a great deal. General Mazloum is willing to negotiate with you, and he is willing to make concessions that they would never have made in the past. I am confidentially enclosing a copy of his letter to me, just received.

History will look upon you favorably if you get this done the right and humane way. It will look upon you forever as the devil if good things don't happen. Don't be a tough guy. Don't be a fool!

Looks like a proper letter to me.
What the liberals don't know what was going on before the withdrawal.. The Turks have fifty of our nukes back from the cold war era.. We essentially United for that time as The Turks Trusted us more than Russia as Russia which then was the USSR and forced many nations into it's Union and control... Fast forward.. The turks with no longer having that fear and the constantly changing Middle east and it's leaders changing we decided it was time to retrieve the nukes.
The Turks did some random fire close to our military operations in Syria shortly before we left... Essentially a warning... Everything went downhill fast.. we went from getting out scheduled nuke returns to having artillery fire close to our military operations pretty darn fast... We could either stay ... Perhaps get struck by random fire.. maybe wait for a nuke of our own to hit us... We don't know if that was even threatened.. Had the Turks kept fireing at our installations .. well it's pretty much war at that point.. they were telling us to leave more or less.
We can sit and look like sissies... Maybe catch a random missile. Or leave... we left.
The Turks go after the Kurds.
And people can say want they want... But Russia is cleaning up the mess and Stopping the slaughtering of Turks.
This would have been Russias chance to chance to make us the laughing stock of the world.... With the tensions between us and Russia and our sanctions war on them... They still are cleaning up our mess and cleaning our stage... We owe them a big one.. How Trump and Russia worked this out without a spotlight is even better... Hopefully whatever transpired will also end our Russia tensions as well ...now if we just can get those nukes !!...we know we can't trust the Turks now...Being president right now would suck..Now we await to see what the next big play is

Whats juvenile are the democrats TDS...making fools out of themselves on a daily basis with their hate and anger issues. Like a spoiled brat in a store that can't have that toy.

The conflict between the Kurds and Turks will go on forever. What it boils down to is a Sunni and Shia conflict that will never end considering the tribal mentality in the middle east.

Trump is correct in removing out soldiers from this conflict.

I think leaving the minimal amount of troops we had there served as both protecting our Kurdish allies who fought so bravely against Isis, and also kept Turkey from attacking them. Even most of the staunchest Trump supporters on FOX , who usually always defend Trump are very upset with him. That includes anyone who was in the military, from grunts to Generals. It was a relatively small amount of troops, what it’s doing to our reputation at home and around the world is much larger. I agree we should stay out of the ME as much as possible, but this was not the way.

It is not about pulling out of Syria, I actually agree with pulling our troops out. It is about that “letter.” I seriously was a better writer in middle school. It is a complete and abject embarrassment. You say “straight and to the point,” hogwash. It doesn’t say a single thing straight. Everything has to be inferred.

This is even better!...as it puts no constraints on our commander and chief and keeps our enemies (commie democrats) guessing as to what he will do next. I think its an excellent letter.

Excellent letter? I have to admit his spell check was working well this time, content and grammar not so much.

Considering the word salad we normally expect from the stable genius some might consider it a coherent and well thought out bit of diplomacy. I don't see it but I guess there are others that do.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you in trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

No thanks whipster. You should hold on to it so you have something to do in your safe space.

So first you say it’s straight and to the point, and now you say’great that it isn’t straight and to the point.’. Admit it, if Trump smeared feces on the wall you would call it art.
