That's quite a while.. I expect they are going to inspect and do any any work on the turbines while it's offline .
Maybe use a chopper and try to clear some areas around the lines as well
Not sure what they use to spin em... But coal plants are a major pain to go offline and back online... So they just as well take advantage of being down

If you have an area where they can bring a bucket truck and they don't have to worry about crushing private property such as houses sheds .all you have to do is ask..Back in the day they used to have to monkey the trees and often hired a third party to do it...Most are self sufficient now though and have everything they need...giant pole saws..bucket trucks...you name it

Can't blame em there...it's a financial decision....if a fire gets started that they can get blamed for...they will hold them liable.

Did hear that they found several branches and trees on the power lines in the post inspection. Just one fire with 40 to 60 mph gusts could have killed a lot more than one person who relied on power to live, but had no back up.

PG&E has been under tremendous pressure from The Progressive Liberal Left. Also known as The State of California politicians, demanding they spend money on alternative energies.

Dennis Prager is fond of saying good intentions with no wisdom is evil. California has arrived at that point.
If you were a real tech, you'd solder a relay on that board and call it good to go.

I do a triple evac with nitro to remove non condensables.

I use 56% silver on everything except steel.

Did you really need the " If you were a real tech " ??

    Vacuum Technology:
CRUD = Contamination Resulting in Undesirable Deposits.
CRAPP = Contamination Resulting in Additional Partial Pressure.

Change your vacuum pump oil now.

    Test. Testing, 1,2,3.
