No DIY allowed, but I will say First Company is a garbage manufacturer and those control boards fail all the time. That's likely your problem.
I have a 2-zone system with an Honeywell HZ311 that controls the dampers and thermostats. It's connected to a 36HBXB-HW air handler. When the thermostats call for heat, the Honeywell displays heat and the correct zone, the air handler starts the blower motor, but the TT terminal to the TACO SR501 does not close and so the boiler (tankless water heater) does not circulate hot water. The result is that the blower simply blows room temperature air.
If I manually short the TT terminal on the TACO SR501, everything works as expected. How do I troubleshoot why either the Honeywell HZ311 or the 36HBXB-HW air handler isn't properly closing the TT circuit? Thanks!

Also, is there any way to wire around this circuit board in the air handler to close the TT?
