    K-type thermocouple averaging multiple temps

    Anyone run across 2 k-type thermocouples wired in parallel (to one connector) to allow for a average temp reading in a duct? Like to have a differential temp using 2 dual k-type thermocouples that I could use a average reading between each pair and then get a differential temp reading. I just want a more accurate delta T for very sensitive equipment.

    I hope I explained that correctly.

    You have to put 2 sets of paralel sensors in series.

    Those are thermistors not thermocouples. I’ve actually install remote room sensors on carrier infinity controls.

    I’m curios about doing this with k-type thermocouples that have those yellow two prong ends

    I cant see any way that would work without having a micro processor average it.
