    Lab refrigeration

1st post, so bear with me.

I left the commercial refrig/hvac/food equipment service van life for a dedicated role as an in house tech at a lab.

Being in commercial so much, seeing all these resi style freezers and refrigerators, its rough finding parts for them, and seeing strange lacking parts.

Today, I'm looking at a unit on routine inspections, and has a start relay on it that's pretty toasty but still running.

General electric FUM 21DTCRWH with an Embraco EGUS80HLP compressor. The thing only appears to have a relay (or likely ptc). No cap, no overload.

Is this a typical setup for resi style units? Any idea on sourcing parts for resi style units? Recommended generic parts lists for cold controls/start components?

The fancier VWR, Revco, Thermo Scientific stuff that I work on here is much easier to work on, but these resi type ones have me thrown slightly for a loop, since it seems there isn't a 'standard' that's been adopted for replacement parts.
