I just did my own fireplace (licensed gas fitter, first fireplace I’ve done). I noticed after install that I installed the venting with the assumption that the manufacturers label would be attached to the venting in the same orientation as the lettering stamped into venting. I don’t recall seeing anything specifying direction, but the stamped flexible vent writing is upside down as it leaves the fireplace. I know other liners I’ve used specified a certain end up. Is this an issue for fireplace install? It was Ecco brand venting I believe (4”/7”)
