    Navien hot water heater

I am in Ontario however don’t think it matters. Flex gas connectors like what you would see on the back of a stove hooked up to a Navien hot water heater. I have never seen this connector used for anything other then a stove and gas dryer. If this was legal than we would scrap expensive gastite fittings. Someone tell me I am wrong and this is legal where they are from.

I mean, if it carries the rated capacity, what's the difference if you use Gastite or an appliance connector?

The code doesn't say that you can use them like that.

Just put in A NTI boiler and the instructions say to use a flex gas line if approved by local code. This is so stress on internal components is not possible.

I don’t know why anyone feels a need to heat hot water. It makes more sense to heat cold water to make it hot.
