Picked up a insulating blanket this weekend. Overpriced but it does the job.

So I switched back to Pit Boss hickory pellets instead of their competition blend which I used for the last 4 bags (160lbs). For some reason the competition blend pellets won't stay lit in the smoke tube. I don't know if Pit Boss switched their concoction they make their pellets with or just the packaging, I've gone thru 2 bags and I'm really happy with the flavor

Haven’t tried the Pit Boss pellets yet. Still using Lumberjack. Actually bought 10 bags worth to keep me going until this whole lockdown thing is over. That’s brought me to about 18 or 20 bags total. Mostly competition blend and char hickory, but I do have mesquite, apple, pecan and some others out there.
Did you ever get the thermal blanket? I did, it actually saves a bunch on pellet consumption. During cold weather I can do an overnight smoke and still have 1/2-3/4 of the hopper still full come morning.

No I didn't. Now that winter is on its last leg, I'll wait until fall.

We're having highs in the mid 80s and staying busy catching calls.

I grew up in the north. I don't miss the snow at all.
