    "Low Voltage" cable

Never ceases to amaze me what some people do...

Typical rats nest control panel with LV/HV cable all piled together like a bowl of spaghetti. Almost nothing is labeled or tagged...except this one conspicuous pair.

480v?? That's 300v rated LV cable, really?? Quick check with the meter, yep sure is. Where the hell is this coming from...

WTF? Guess at least they wrapped it with tape where is passes through razor sharp edges. Crap is wire tied to the conduit over to God knows where.

Can't wait to see what else lurks on this controls reboot. Here's hoping I find the installing contractors info on something.

At least you have proper label on it. The system I was replacing had everything labeled with markers on the jacket, and 60v cable run with 480v wiring.

Yep, metal chips from the step drill still sitting on the panel a give away. Could be maintenance bob for all I know. Doubt I'll ever know who, can't wait to figure out what its going to.

That's an easy way for someone to get killed. What a shame.

Not only that, the fire hazard which could kill many more. 18 awg wire with 277 x2 will go full meltdown given a reason. Given the care of the cable routing, its a matter of time from the looks of it.
