Question Info about working at a Lennox distribution/parts location

I have been looking ahead in life and have a possible opportunity to move out of the field.

I have read all you guys saying that you are still doing this into, and beyond, your 50s and 60s, but I am not sure I want to do that. I enjoy the challenge, have never really been an office guy, and the financial side will most likely be less.

I know they have had their issues with their service side, NAS or whatever, and had some recent cutbacks in personnel, but which mfr, or company, has not gone through something like this.

Anyone with experience working for Lennox in this capacity and wish to share?

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and stamps EVER.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals". Their stated reason for this policy "... the animals become dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

The local Lennox parts house is a revolving door, always hiring.... always firing.
There is not better place for the working men than the union! 100% UA the only HVAC union!

    Any indication why?
Employees not able to do their job?
    Lennox too demanding?
    Business model?

I know several of the Lennox people in the Wisconsin district. They have been there a long time and seen to be happy. I think it will depend largely what kind of district manager runs your district.

If their national account services is any indication, they do not wish to pay their employees above a certain arbitrary level and they are unconcerned if they keep on losing people because of their low pay.

    I'm not of that caliber.

NAS is a completely different division of the company and has no bearing on this discussion.
