    However with Propel.

And the product from Cosco: Hydration Multiplier...
I forgot I bought a package of that a few weeks ago...
Will dig it out of the Kitchen cabinet and try it!

    THX guys, for the suggestions!

    GA
I have to use different solutions since it gets too boring after a while. I use several cocktails like 50/50 Propel & Gatorade. Just water and orange or apple juice. Iced tea and apple juice. different combinations to keep things interesting. Sometimes no matter how much you drink, you just can't get hydrated or quench your thirst.
Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?

That might be due to a lack of proper diet.

How much of these things do you eat? . . . Dairy as in cheese, processed foods [learn what they are], drinks with chemicals and sugar in them, carbohydrates in general, lack of fish and meat [not processed meat], smoking, not enough beer in the evening. Well, might have taken a bit of liberty on that last item, LOL.

Bigger point here is that if your diet is not healthy, your body will crave things, because your body knows it needs things.

I agree with the water and Gatorade combo. Lemon lime all day!

Watering it down into a nice icy metal thermos is good as said above.

I second Pedialyte. there is something new that i have seen advertised that i am eager to try. Its marketed for hangovers, etc. https://liquid-iv.com

I also like the lower cal G-2 Gatorade and Vitamin Water. Vitamin water has less sodium than Gatorade.

    Have you tried Metamucil?

Not quite that far along... yet...
However closing in and closer than I want to be... grin

Looks like the heat wave is gonna break... at least for a few days...

So far... GA is as 'regular' as someone a lot younger...
And we will leave it at that...

I don't know that this will work in high humidity areas, or even look professional, but out here in the west if I drench my shirt with water it keeps me from having to sweat as much to stay cool.

In my area it just makes your shirt wet and heavy. I use to wear Aramark polos they looked good, took a beating and wore well, but there were several times I soaked my shirt with sweat and it didn't dry out the rest of the day even if I was where it as cool and dry. Now I wear a drytech shirt. You can't hardly soak this one through it dries so fast.

I bought some wicking shirts... they help a bunch in the humidity down here...
And we can wear shorts on the job... albeit I still wear safety boots!
Bought a hat at the local hardware store that sells professional lawn equipment... it is a baseball style cap with a 'skirt' that hangs down to ones shoulders... keeps the sun off your neck and ears... works well!

Weather is finally softening a bit... the latest wave of heat... is dry...
Highs of 'only' 90-91-92 (was 97-98-99)... with lower humidity... and the nights get down into the lower 60's (a few weeks ago, the nights did not get down to 70, with high humidity).
Still though, this is more than 10*F higher than normal for this time of year.

Mr. Summer Heat Sir kicked me in the ribs today but not too bad. Working on a solar pool heater on west facing 12x12 roof. I took lots of breaks "I love this job because I get to take lots of breaks!" haha Drank about a gallon over three hours plus a peanut butter and jelly and some iv stuff and some cookies! mmm i like cookies.

at about 1:00 when the clouds were long gone and the sun was directly overhead I knew it was time to stop, clean up, move all three ladders aside, load up and go. I was ok but when I got home an hour later it was time to crash. Now it is 6:45 and still feel like a piece of sh*t. haha

I have a set of those on my roof... thankfully, the previous owner had them installed...

12x 12x4 panels in a row... on a scorching June day, I can add 3-4*F to my pool, which is 30K gallons.

Nice thing about my array: the roof is a metal roof with a 1/12 pitch... so easy access to service... albeit it is 2 levels up.

Take care of yourself in the heat!

It feels like the heat is about to break here... we actually got some rain last night... and tonite we got sprinkled on.

HOPE it breaks soon... tired of the record heat...

In situations like that I would get Propel or Gatorade and dilute and freeze them with a couple bottles of pure water.
