    Good to know. Thanks!
Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?

Do you have some document or a link where where this is explained a bit more? Thanks.

some new evaps come with a little bag with 2 nozzles you choose from

it looks like a metal donut

You shove the nozzle into the pipe , then a clip , then braze on txv

That system had a metering device. You can tell by looking at the u-bends and the green corrosion. The last few passes of each circuit have never really been much below the cold room temp and they don't sweat and oxidize.

The caps off the distributor are feeding the top.
Or what would be the front had the picture been turned.

I found an AC with no metering devices.

And believe it or not, it was at NASA. You know how those rocket scientists are, LOL.

Long time ago, so can't remember all of the details. Think is was a 20 ton AC with one semi Copeland compressor and two evap circuits. Can't even remember what the original call was. May have been tripped on oil pressure, or may have been a dead compressor.

Installed maybe ten years prior to me seeing it.

When I reported back to the HMFIC, he said no way. I said, way.

Virtually every tech and higher up had to go look at it to verify. Yup, no TEV.
If you were a real tech, you'd solder a relay on that board and call it good to go.

I do a triple evac with nitro to remove non condensables.

I use 56% silver on everything except steel.

Did you really need the " If you were a real tech " ??
