    Confused FREEZE 12

    I bought a 1979 f 100 someone has converted it to 134a it aint gettin it if you know what I mean, anybody ever heard of this stuff called FREEZE 12 I know the condenser is not big enough thats a given, its either a cocktail or an electric fan to keep the head pressure down .

    Too hi on the head again . I had old timers refrigeration guys tell me about mixing a tiny bit of 12in a 502 freezer one time ��

    R414B. It used to be my go to for low temp R12 equipment. Runs fairly low head pressure.

    Hot Shot was very popular for auto A/C conversions. So much so it had DuPont screaming patent infringement.

    134 works great in vehicles with radiator type condensers

    If that old beast has tube type coil , it cant reject enough heat

    Get yourself a radiator type from newer truck and ghetto rig it

    If you really like that truck , theres a place makes custom parallel flow condensers with hoses too
