Yep that's right heating ventilation air conditioning refrigeration and tires.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

Pretty good pics for a rotary phone

I used my nitro tank a couple times to inflate a low tire on my service truck and my wife's minivan.

I think I just forced it in by backing out the core slightly and exerting 200 psi thru Ό" cu tubing.
    Yours is far more refined!

Ive always used a refrigerant hose to charge tires.

Maybe it’s because i keep my gaskets fresh.

I just align it up and push it tight to the valve stem and fillerup.

    No leaking

The adapter R600 made to screw onto his refrigeration hose is handy and very easy to make.

You can get pretty much any air chuck, along with a 1/4" MPT x male flare adapter.

Here's an example (I actually just made one using these 2 parts about a month ago).......

I actually didnt make anything it is straight from uniweld.
I was just geeking out on setting the tire pressure to the nearest 1/10th. It works well. I have always used the hose with core depressor backed out but i cant do fine adjustments and i cant check the pressures nearly as well.
This was bouncing around in the bosses van never being used and well now it isnt. :-)

A gasket a day keeps the leaks at bay. Or something like that isnt it? :-)

reminds me, I need to let all the air out of the car tires and inflate with nitrogen. always irritating when seasons change, and you start getting low pressure warnings.

Somebody liked one of my posts on this thread which reminded me my boss told me something funny a while back. He said back in the day they would just air their tires up with liquid r22 in the winter. He said it worked great until you forget to drain it before the weather heats up and talk about a violent tire explosion.

I’ve done it from time to time when in a bind. It works very well when ya need it. You always put less in that what you think you need cuz as you get moving the tire heats up and if ya put too much in then it goes pop, found out the hard way on that one too.

Did he also tell you that your could then find the leaks by looking for the frosting areas on the tire?

R410a works better because you can keep all vapor in most weather conditions so it pretty much acts just like air. Just don't fill your truck tires to 80 psi when it is below 20°f
