    GeoThermal Temperature Probe

Maybe I'm late for the bus but Cooper Atkins has a temperature probe made just for the PT ports . Part number 1052. 1/16 diameter which is perfect. The 1/8" diameter probes are a tight fit and that is with lube.

Has anyone found K type at 1/16 " diameter ??
Yes, I've seen that before and it doesn't mean I like it.

I have used the Fluke ones (not sure about the diameter) but I would be worried about anything thinner. Sometimes even that one bends.
"Right" is not the same as "Wise".

I would always use my 1/8" probe, it's tight and you can't use the handle on the Cooper sensor. Just grab the probe near the handle with pliers and use that to push it in and out.
