System not cooling, odd line temps

Hey guys, I'm stumped on this one. The condenser is clean, both fan motors are blowing strong. Air filters are removed. System starts up and sub cooling, super heat and both high side and low side look good, suction line temp drops, 40 degree difference to discharge.

After about 2 min, VSAT increases, both pressures increase, and SLT starts to rise. Eventually SLT is like 94 degrees. Very little temperature difference inside between supply and return. No ice on evaporator coil, entering and exiting air temp has minimal difference.

Any ideas? Older R22 system 2 ton carrier. I've attached pictures of the gauge set

Where are you taking your SP at. Is there anything between the post and compressor.

This reminds me of a system I ran onto with a bad suction drier, 100 lb inlet, 45 lb outlet.

Hey guys, i really appreciate the help in this one. I dug into the coil box and 3 rows of coil runs on the evap were not cooling hardly at all, like 88 degree temperature with the other "runs" at 38 degrees or so. Found a small leak on the distributor line on one of the runs. Going to replace the Coil and cut out the suction line drier and replace, it had a temp drop on it as well.

    Thank you all again!
