    GAST 1023 Vacuum Pump

    Hi

I am new here and new to the trade. Just got my license and now acquiring some gear. I happen to have a GAST 1023 rotary vane oilless vacuum pump from another project and wondering if this would be suitable to use for vaccing mini splits.

    Model 1023 Series specs are:

    26 inHg max. vacuum
    10.0 CFM open flow
    10 psi max. pressure
    10.0 CFM open flow

Kinda of beast to carry around but its free at the moment.

    Thanks
    Jeff

Measuring the minimum vacuum pump range in “Hg is always a sign of NO
"Right" is not the same as "Wise".
