Permanent Locking Caps or is it a Branch Circuit?

Went on a residential call for a “no-cool”. Homeowner says it’s probably out of Freezone. I asked him why he thinks it’s out of refrigerant, and he says he thinks the tree took it.

Sawzall surgery for 15 minutes and I finally had access.

Turned out to be a wire that had fallen off the capacitor. The tree did not take the freezone.

If the tree didn't take the Freezone, it would've been the weed whacker on the coil, LOL.
I do a triple evac with nitro to remove non condensables.

I had a call that the unit need servicing. I got there and tree with 4" trunk grew up between liquid and vapor lines. The unit was still running with kinked vapor line and flatten liquid line.

Yep. If that coil isn't leaking already, it will be pretty soon.
