When faced with the choice between changing one's mind, and proving that there is no need to do so, most tend to get busy on the proof.

While I've done residential remodeling for 30 years (started with roofing, then siding, windows, additions, decks, bathroom and kitchen remodeling) and could build and finish an entire house from scratch (one day- my own house), HVAC is one of the few elements I would contract out due to limited/minimal experience with it. I love checking on different forums like this one, so...here I am, a new HVAC stalker.

    Thanks!

I appreciate you coming here and your thirst for knowledge.

Basically, this is a site for HVAC trade members.... people who make their living performing the trade.... and we also reach out to homeowners to try and answer some of their questions.... but we have limited technical input that we provide in the open forums. That level of discussion is left for the closed, professional member forums...which cannot be indexed by search engines.

So, if you are interested in becoming an HVAC technician, this is the place for you.

If you have a passing interest in HVAC as a profession, you may find the site enlightening.... but you won't find enough information to teach you how to do the trade in the open forums.
