Put it this way, the H10pro spanks the $3000 PGMIR, why would the Stratus be better?

Because they make great IR bench detectors and maybe they figured something out for a cheaper handheld. The only IR Bacharach had previously was a copy of a copy of a copy detector that stunk.

True enough. I mistakenly was thinking DTek made the PGM-IR

The rest of us here know that you are not The Guru. I am beginning to suspect he has a drinking problem.
I do a triple evac with nitro to remove non condensables.

You're not the infamous The GooRoo. He was like a pigeon, fly over and crap on things, then fly away.

The detectors that are more sensitive to 410a seem to have a problem with the CFC reference bottles (like the Bacharach Part# 3015-0864).

The Yellow Jacket (Part# 69386) "Leak Standard Bottle" should work (HFC sensitive).

I have both to cover the bases (for my SLR8 and TIFZX).

I've been doing some comparison tests of the Stratus with a ZX, but haven't yet made any final, general conclusions...but am getting there.

I can say the Stratus has consistently detected small PPM concentrations of 410A which is more than I can say for the other (SRL2 for one) IR detectors I've owned. In the same tests, the ZX also detected 410A at a respectable level (4 or 5 LED's lit).

So far as 22, the ZX is probably the better detector...but I think the general consensus is/has been heated sensor technology being better with 22.

In some other tests, the Stratus barely detected 134A and a couple of R-22 HFC alternatives while the ZX didn't detect at all.
