Welcome to the "Orwellian" New World Order.

By the way, .... George Bush Sr., twice in public speeches, invoked it.

The American People have become "Sheeple" & are being masterfully herded by their "Party Leaders".

I try to avoid using Google, Bing, & Yahoo for researching anything, especially after I installed software that showed & prevented if I wanted, "Cookies"/ Trackers from many a "Party", such as "Twitter", "Facebook", "Google", "Amazon", "Bing",etc. that Absolutely had nothing to do with the Web Page that I was on.

In fact, .... Here on this Site, ... "Facebook" & "Google" want one to allow "Cookies", & I'm not using "Google" to get here, nor do I have a Facebook App on My Computer.
And, I'm not going to grant all kinds of permissions to Java scripts etc., just so that I can regain that once cherished "Like Button" that went away after "Th' Crash".

It kinda gave me "chill" when I began noticing that even Fox News, was moving from the "Right" and towards being Moderate & sometimes very Liberal in it's News Coverage & Opinions.

Big Brother is Solidly here Ya'll, & He's not just "Watching & Collecting All of Yer Data", ..... He's influencing Your Thoughts, as well as Your Children's Thinking & more.

It's actually all beginning to become somewhat "Biblical" in a way.
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children.

^ Agreed...the younglings these days are complete idiots brainwashed by commie think. They will be in Washington soon sealing our fate. Im glad that I am old enough to remember/seen better days. The youth today don't know, and don't know that they don't know.

One day, they may realize what they have lost. By then it will be too late, as once rights are given up, they are seldom returned.

Things are a little different since they have a relative monopoly and pretend they are an unbiased outlet.

Plus they have protections afforded to them based on them remaining unbiased.

You should look into Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996. It protects internet context giant's from legal action. The gist behind the law is these companies don't have control over content and shouldn't be sued for what individuals put on the internet.

So now that we know these liberal puke organizations are heavily into modifying what you and I see, they should be responsible for all the content you can access.

I fully agree these protections should be removed. If Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc want to edit based on what they deem politically offensive, they have opened that door. They can not longer claim they can't be held responsible for what people can access. Obviously they can and do.

That just says they can’t be sued for putting any dumb stuff people come up with on their sites. Really doesn’t apply to them deciding what they want on their site.

Just don’t log on if you don’t like the rules. I don’t.

So, using your own reasoning, if ARP moderators decided to place you on a permanent vacation or censor your posts you would have nothing to complain about. After all, you could go start your own ARP. Will that work for you or would that be unfair?

Let me first say I am conservative in many of my thoughts and actions. I try not to over spend, my debt is low, I live within my paycheck.... But that is because of things that have happened to me though my life. But I do have some liberal ideas. Yes I believe there are many poor and homeless that need help but it's not a ticket to free money, health care, housing... everyone has something they can offer back. I'm not a Trump fan, I do not believe I would like him personally based on his actions before becoming the president. I do give him respect as he is our president. My opinion he was the better pick over Hillary Clinton.

Know I'm sure there are Trump supporters that are posting things of how great and wonderful Donald Trump is, how great his ideas and policies are.....

Just like there are those who are posting how bad he is

I did my own unscientific test.

    1. Went to google querried: What are some of Trumps great ideas, After a couple seconds up pops numerous "make america great again" merchandise items. Then a bunch of "all of Trumps failed promises" postings. There were a couple positive things about Melania

    2. Then I asked: What are Trumps bad ideas: in less than a blink of an eye there were hundreds of hits and about half was "impeach" in header

    3. Then I entered: Great Trump Testimonials. "Google kicked me out!"

So, my conclusion Google is doing much more than blocking some nut jobs postings.

The video posting of Google executives shows them stating; they Google being such large, powerful company and have many resiources where going to prevent Trump from being re-elected. Now here's the hard question: Why is this OK and or different than the Russian Collusion Investigation that Mueller publicly stated Trump was not a part of. But many just can't let it go.

There might be some precedent, it a bit of a round about way.

Let's look at the media before social media, newspaper, radio, and television.

Leading up to an election, I think it is a Federal law that says access must be given to all candidates. And the advertising rate must be the lowest tier. Obviously so the 'platform' could not discriminate against a candidate by price gouging.

Newspapers, radio, and television are all businesses. Just like Google is a business. When it comes to suppressing information leading up to an election, sounds to me like this has been dealt with in the past. Shouldn't be so difficult to adapt to the new medias.

Just because they're on a mission to keep Trump from being reelected doesn't prove that they did intentionally spread false information or did anything illegal. I think the Google exec who testified before congress a while back about bias against conservatives should be reexamined because there may be something illegal there if it was proven that he lied to congress. I'll have to think more on it but I'm just not sure we should do anything about an American company who wants to sway the election except let it be known what they're doing. We have to be careful about crossing the line where we hinder freedom of speech or freedom of the press just because we don't like what they're doing or saying.

Be interesting to see if any of the more vocal anti-Trump lefties on ARP...
Will answer the question in bold, honestly...

It was enacted basically because these providers said it would impossible to police internet content. So they shouldn't be liable if someone posts child porn or how to build a nuclear bomb.

Since we now know that isn't true and they are fully capable of censoring the content you see, they obviously don't need these protections anymore. They can prevent us from seeing Project Veritas videos proving their biases and fascistic book burning. They can prevent child porn.

It's amazing they figured out a way to censor the internet over their religious zealotry of leftism but said it was impossible to do so for everything else. Amazing what you can accomplish when you are blinded by totalitarianism.

Sound like they were lying and another example of big Corp using politics to make more money.

Amazing that liberal support the new leftist progressive moveme t that has taken over in Washington. Everything liberals say they hate is being fed by their votes for leftists.

Corporate control is what it's about and its being fertilized by progressive votes. It's no different than in the healthcare mess. Ever ask yourself why the biggest, most evil corps are run by liberals these days? All of them. It's not the fat, bald Dick Cheney looking guy with his red tie and a $40 cigar hanging out of his mouth anymore. It's the millionaire driving to work in his Prius.

Amazing these people can't wake up and see reality.

Google is suppressing a video that nails them for suppressing news and search results. And the media ignores the story.

And for Scoobie above. If what Google is doing isn't a big deal, why do they deny it and have been for years?

And can the Google execs be prosecuted for lying to congress?

Also, why ain't this big news? With how big Google is and how many people rely on it, why is the press ignoring this story? This is one of the most news worthy stories this year. But no mentions of it on the mainstream news.

Weird. Almost like they are part of the propaganda.

Oh, but if GM and Ford were colluding to fix the prices of cars... or squish the competition from the other makers... we would not even get the local weather report due to all the hollering about corrupt corporate America...

Newsflash: Google IS a corporation, based in the USA... so Google
    IS Corporate America!

    Given this inconvenient reality...

We need to start being suspect of Google... like we are of all the other horrible, greedy, corrupt, dishonest, polluting, cheating, profit driven, manipulative, destructive... corporate America companies!

If any company fits the bill as not being trustworthy today...
Google is absolutely at the TOP of the list!

No time for Vin-tube. Scoob-Tube sounds better anyway.

So, question: Do you believe that the biased actions of the Tech Giants influences elections? Searches with conservative results filtered out, FB and Twitter banning and deleting posts by conservatives, etc.
