    What brand do you install again? I know with Carrier they do not allow buried line sets. Refrigerant will migrate to the buried spot during the off cycle and cause possible flooded starts of the compressor. I would recommend adding a crankcase heater and come out of the ground 6” above the suction line then back down in. Basically an inverted trap.

    That is a good idea regardless of the brand.
    Can someone please explain to me -
    Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?
