Thanks Homie. This place is getting more chicken shit by the hour. I think i know what/WHO happened now, and it ain't that. All i have ever done here in my 10 years, is to try and help people out in our trade, with my 45 years of experience, and wisdom. BUT each day (as of late), i wonder just what is in living hell WHY, as the forces of evil are rearing their ugly heads on a daily basis now.

Here is my take:

A one-post-wonder who is asking about how to find a cap value is NOT a tech, and is someone violating the DIY rule.

You biit on the bait, and so it got poofed.

When you see a post like that, report it so it can be moved to AOP, with a non-DIY reminder.

Keep in mind that there have been many home owners/DIYers that lurked here long enough to figure out that if they claim to be a tech and ask their question in the Tech to Tech forum. They have a good chance of getting their DIY answer.

The OP of that thread isn't too concerned, since he was back after your post was deleted, so he couldn't have seen it, and he didn't push for an answer.

You posted a pic of the part he was looking for, in the pic was the web site you got it from. Anyone can search and find that picture and DIY info!

ID Tag faded fine a tech would know how to get the info from the compressor tag! The OP was not a tech.

Lz posted a picture of the exact duel cap the OP couldn't find. In the pic was the DotCom web site where he found it. As I said if the OP was a tech he could have looked it up by compressor #'s

Dad and the rest of the Mods have enough on there hands and cant view every post. All I did was inform them of this violation of the rules its up to them to keep, modify or delete!
