    PXC36, Apogee and USB

Is it possible to connect to the controller via USB instead of the RS-485 with Apogee? Siemens support does not make it easy to find the info or configure if it is an option. I'm looking for a more robust connection as we are an OEM and I'm connecting to these controllers on a regular basis to upload our database. A reinforced metal USB connection would be faster, easier and last a lot longer. Links to drivers or instructions on configuration would be greatly appreciated.

Disclosure: not an HVAC-R tech or engineer, just a self taught electrician.

    Thanks in advance

EDIT: currently using Ethernet port to upload our database with a fixed IP address via apogee. not the RS-485 port.

You can connect to the USB but only to set some controller settings, you can't upload a database by USB.
