OK, just one more of the Walter Trout CD and I will stop.

Now I get the feelin' that somethin's goin' wrong
Can't help believin' I won't last too long
Won't last too long, too long
Hey, I can see the writing on the wall
Hey, I believe that I'm about to lose it all
I look around, I look around and everything I see
Reminds me of the way, reminds me of the way I used to be
I, I tell myself that life ain't ever fair
I keep looking for the answer
I look inside but it ain't ever there
And now I got regrets for the things I used to do so long ago
I wish I could go back and do it over knowing what I know

I can feel it, I can fell my body closin' down
Like a toy that has been broken, laying there in pieces on the ground
A good woman's love is the only thing that keeps me hangin' on
But I can see it in her eyes, we both know that I am almost gone
But I can see it in her eyes, we both know that I am almost gone.

I've never hear of Walter Trout, but like what you posted. His music is tight. Strikes me as closer to 'Southern Rock'.

Very nice. I like it. His style reminds me of a group named 'Ashes Remain'. Here's a favorite of mine from them that doesn't necessarily reflect the similarity in style, but I think you can still discern it. You can check out their other stuff on YouTube if you like it. Their music runs a bit more to toward Rock/Southern Rock:

At Fillmore East is one of my favorite.

I think I posted this here once. Fun fact.... They were trying tk get a good shit for the album cover but weren't having luck. The band just wasn't into it and the pictures showed it. They got them up early in the morning, they normally hated photo sessions. A little while into trying to get a good photo where they didn't look pissed or hung over, Duane saw a dealer friend of his and ran up to him and got a bag of contraband. He ran back and sat down and the rest of the band started laughing. That's the photo. You can see Duane's clutched left hand in his lap holding/hiding the drugs.

Favorite date night is going to the symphony with the wife. My boss is a big part of the local symphony and gives me tickets a few times a year.

Got into it when was I was given two tickets to Beethoven's 9th by a customer. She was a violinist. I was blown away. Been going ever since.

Good for you and the wifey. I totally agree, classical music is a feast like no other for the mind. Ever listen to Indian classical music? That stuff is stunningly complex yet hypnotic.
