    Thats what I was thinking, very common issue with screw compressors, the inverted metric threads are deeply embedded and impossible to break apart.
    There is not better place for the working men than the union! 100% UA the only HVAC union!

    Usually a little lube on the stunod Rod breaks it free... we prefer a non petroleum based stunrod knob lube.

    Another possibility could be the base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by the two spurving bearings could be stuck. It’s a pretty easy fix…

    What brand and model of machine? Could be a couple things. Leaking unload solenoid valve, clogged load solenoid, stuck piston, leaking wear rings on piston. Good bit of things to rule out there too determined the issue.
