And that is exactly why I avoid all prescription meds.

Yesterday, I heard that antioxidants have failed nearly 100% in clinical testing, so I though I would run a quick search this morning to see what I could find.

Here is just one article, and it is worth reading. The main problem is absorption (or, a lack of it) and that sugars produce abundant free radicals...more than the absorbed antioxidants can destroy.

The theory that antioxidant supplements are sold under is this: free radicals steal electrons from other complex molecules, which is bad, and that antioxidants provide electrons to the free radicals, so they don't attack important molecules, causing (allegedly) cancer, arthritis, etc.

This interaction works well in a laboratory, but because we digest what we eat, we can get almost none of those benefits from eating antioxidant compounds, with the exception of Vitamin C and E, and a few other compounds.

You can actually buy work pants with a pocket to insert your foam pads into. We wear them in the Emergency Services & you don’t even know they are there until you go to kneel & the ground is soft.

The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman.
