    A Nice Upgrade

Homeowner had comfort issues. Typical 18 year old new construction home. Ductwork way undersized everything 6” runs unbalanced, the list goes on. Installed two stage furnace and two stage AC. Increase second floor runs to 7”, sealed ductwork and balanced. Happy customer.

Beautiful work as always. Love that coil access door nice and open for service with nothing blocking it.

Beautiful install. Sheet metal fab is such an amazing art. I wish i knew had to do it. Living in south Florida I don’t get a chance to do it.

Excuse my ignorance; what’s that thing on the return plenum?

No worries. I’m guessing you’re talking about the humidifier? Something I don’t imagine needing in Florida lol.

You’re welcome. That’s pretty cool! I used to work for a Carrier dealer in the field. Now I work for a Carrier distributor doing field support and training.

    It Seriously Looks Good Johoff.

Is there a hanger on that gas line, so as to take the weight off of the gas valve?

Is the outlet of the air cleaner blocked off somewhat?

And, is that drain for the humidifier laying flat on the floor?

The collar between the furnace and the evap coil casing is great. Makes for good measurements.

UTC is Headquartered in my state and the largest employer. In UTC umbrella Pratt & Whitney Aircraft engines being the largest employer. People tend to think ( especially here IMO ) that for the most part their HVAC brands and Automated Logic controls are their only lines. That's so far from the truth, until couple/three years ago they owned Sikorsky Helicopters, which is still based in my state, they own one of the world leader, Otis elevators, amount many other global reaching companies. Myself, thou I put Goodman Heat Pumps in my residence 15 years ago, and they are still going strong, no leaks, all original parts except the defrost boards.

    Thank you.

No hanger, main line is supported. I could of put a hanger there but missed it.

The 6” box under the furnace is cut out for the air cleaner. Allows for all 20” to be used.

    No it’s sloped back.
