Need new 6 cfm vacuum pump

I am in need of a new 6 cfm pump, looking for suggestions of what you are using? My last pump was a Robinair 15600, it lasted only 1 1/2 years before it lost it's micron capacity. I actually changed the oil routinely too.
I sent it back for repairs and it is not worth repairing.

JB Platinum. Get the 7cfm. You’ll be happy and will not regret it.

I’ve just recently purchased the Fieldpiece VP85 8 cfm vacuum pump with the TruBlu kit. It’s done everything I could ask for so far. Pulled down two new Mitsubishi’s this week (One two-headed, one four-headed, both over 100ft of lineset) to under 40 microns, each in under an hour.

Agreed. The weight it there for both. I had a super evac for close to 20 yrs. it was still running. I just wanted to upgrade. It’s still there as a back up. Both are solid pumps.
My only gripe with the JB pump is the plug in the handle. It falls out all the time. Other then that it’s spot on.
I thought about getting a tez, honestly I just didn’t want to pony up that kind of money.

The JB platinums are also upgradable.

I have a 5 cfm and a 7 cfm that are both now 10 cfm pumps.

You can get the replacement 10 cfm vane cartridges and they will fit in any pump over 3 cfm.

The JB Platinum is hard bro beat, but I'm interested in the NAVAC pump now.

That is a nice looking pump. DC motor with inverter, I would like to see long term reliability. Anyone using this pump?

What? Never knew this. That would save a bit of weight over the 10cfm model. It's a beast of a vacuum pump.
