2nd go at ribs with the pellet grill

2nd go at it today. It was colder outside than last time. Added the smoke tube like was suggested in my other thread. Big difference, yet still not overpowering smoke flavor. Like it. Ribs were a little bit firm vs the last time. I think that has to do with the heat loss from the cold, wind and snow, Thank you mother nature... Nonetheless, still turned out great. Threw a potluck of veggies in as well for the last hour. Red, green, yellow, white, and jalapeno peppers, green onions, zucchini, broccoli, asparagus, some olive oil and garlic pepper. Next new dish will be jerky. I sliced up 5lbs of top round this afternoon. They are marinating as I type this.

Did something similar today on my gas grille with smoke tube. Six bucks worth of chix thighs and legs, spice rub, hickory pellets, bbq sauce at the end. pretty dang good.
