    Fieldpiece SM380V - what gives

Real? Not yet available? Discontinues already?
One site listed them as discontinued.
TrueTech is not listing any Fieldpiece manifolds.
Yes, I've seen that before and it doesn't mean I like it.

I was just getting ready to start a thread on the SM480V. The Fieldpiece rep was leaving a parts house today as I was walking in and he left the brochures for the SM380V and SM480V. The counter guys were completely clueless, no info from them at all. They either didn't talk to the rep or didn't listen to him. It is supposed to be about 10% more expensive than the SMAN460. According to the brochure, it looks pretty cool. It is supposed to be impact and water resistant. Also, it somehow measures refrigerant usage. Any info from RussellHarju would be helpful. Either way I am definitely getting one.

I will connect with the wireless scale.
They must not be in stock anywhere yet and some are not advertising the old one now.

My guess is the getting ride of old stock. The new SMAN 480 and 380 are set to come out sometime in April from what I hear.

They ran their stock and most distributors’ stock down to zero in the last month.
Look for the 380 & 480 to be lit up on the TruTech site shortly.
    Inventory coming VERY soon.

Are the wireless probes good for 350' to the SMAN (clear path). Then another 350' from the SMANs to your phone or tablet??

The short answer is no, with the exception of the pipe clamps. For example the Psychometer probes will send to both the SMANs and the Job Link app in your phone simultaneously so both the SMAN and the phone would need to be within the 350' range. The pipe clamps first send to the SMAN and the SMAN sends to the app, so technically the pipe clamps could be 700' feet.

Ok thanks, I was more interested in the distance on the pipe clamps anyway for refrigeration. That's pretty sweet, think this will be my next manifold!

Will the manifold be compatible with measurequick? If yes, sign me up for 5 sets. If no...
