    Not sure what that other flex line on the discharge is for. I fixed a leak on the discharge tee. Kind of a neat setup they use there. The condensing water is the return loop to the boiler.

    So one is just a regular compressor and one with the thermistor is the unloading scroll? Is it a thermistor? It may control the unloading in some way, either during normal operation or during an over heating scenario.

    The right is a digital the left is a regular. Pecmsg pointed out the digital controller watches the discharge temp not sure why as I'm sure they have a motor protector inside the terminal box. Didn't dig into it to much when I was there.
