keep them as a spare and order a hand held from Carrier. i tried this and ended up screwing up the marquee
Hey guys just recently got a couple marquee displays off a couple units that got scrapped. These things are pretty new. Was thinking about making some type of navigator tool out of them. Was going over wiring connections and where they connect to the MBB. Was thinking about adapting wiring harness to a RJ14 connector to be able plug into LEN port. Have any you guys tried this? Even worth it or just keep them as spare parts.

Darn I was really hoping someone has done it successfully. I already have a navigator display. The wiring looks pretty simple just wondering if the power connections on the Len port with the RJ14 would be adequate sized enough to handle powering the marquee display. I guess I’ll just use them as spares since those displays are so reliable lol
I think navigator is the same cost as the marquee. Those stupid thing stop working at the most inopportune times as well.
Funny.
I did a bing search for the official name of these things (for my video) and look who's post I find! LOL
Of course you know your answer now. HA HA :-D
Ohh yeah!! Already talked to my friend hes gonna 3D print and make some enclosures for them!! Lol
Those displays are a racket for Carrier. Do they still put them on new equipment? Buttons dont work and cant see the display for worth a darn in the sun. Need to invest in a hand held.

I just modified 6 of those display units to make the buttons work BETTER than original.
Here is the progress on those spare display modules.
I soldered up a RG14 to Molex plug adapter and it worked.
MesaHVAC is getting some enclosures fabricated for them.
