    Fujitsu Bacnet Integration

    Hi,

Was tasked with integrating a bunch of Fujitsu Halcyon units using the Fujitsu Bacnet gateway.

    Two issues at hand.

1 - Space temperature reads 32 degrees on all units.
2 - The points fail to update after a few days. commands stop writing to stat and status points don't update. The only way to regain communication is to cycle power to units.

Fujitsu has one guy that knows this and is out on medical leave.

    Thanks,

At a guess Intesis might be the company that made the gateway, problem is last I asked for Fujitsu to BACnet they didn't have one.

    Fujitsu makes one. UTY-VBGX
So far, its a glorified dumb stat.
you can change setpoints and unit modes (Heat/Cool/Auto). you can not see space temperature or what the unit is actually doing (cooling/heating).

    Hello MaxBurn,
Pleased to share that Intesis is about to release a FJ-AC-BAC-1L unit that will connect to Fujitsu units using connector CN-65 and offer BACnet MS/TP interface.
This is a 1:1 solution, one interface for every indoor unit head.
I am the OEM Sales Manager for America at Intesis; please contact me if you have interests.

I'm in the same boat. We are integrating bunch of Fujitsu Halcyon and Airstage units using BACnet Gateway UTY-ABGX.

Pretty much the same issues with the exception of space temperature reading 32F. I think the gateway stores the last value of space temperature before it stops responding. The points for Halcyon units fail to update after a few days, commands stop writing to thermostat and status points don't update. But, the points work on Airstage units (even though they're on the same loop). I found the only way to regain communication is to cycle power to units.

We've had Fujitsu technician on site from across the country about 5-6 times and the issue still remains. Apparently, the Halcyon units are not meant for BACnet integration.
