    What's in the photo?



    This is an installation of a water source heat pump in a floating house. What is this photo exactly? Heat exchange pipe? source

    I would guess that is exactly what it is. Looks like they are preparing it to mount under the floats of the house. I’m guessing again on this but I would assume a closed loop would be preferable because they can control the quality of water running through the heat exchanger ( no salt, no debris to block it up, corrosion inhibitors, etc...)
