Changed the thermocouple out. Pump has been replaced and gas valve.

Dang,...what does the other " NOTICE " say...

I believe those type of thermostats have a distinctive sound when it either opens or closes, may have a tiny magnet in there?

It says water main shut off located behind this door. Turn the red knob clockwise to shut water off

It’s hanging on that brown cabinet to the right of the boiler picture which is not really a cabinet it is just a door with an open bottom this is the combustion air for the room covers the hole to the crawlspace basically

Pure simplicity boiler, simple water piping, as long as the HX and burner tubes hold up its good for another 100 years....unless the Green Deal gets it...

The latest This Old House project has the original American Standard boiler, looks like the OP's. Wonder what Richard ends up doing? Talking about removing baseboard for in floor radiation. Mod Con?

I always liked the shape of the snowman style boilers all covered in snow that had been converted 3 or more times. Simple and quiet.
