Can be true. The factory becomes your bubble & you don’t see what’s going on in the outside world.
The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman.

Well I got canned so no more wondering from me, unless they rehire me. I made my case, but after 90 days they seem to think I should have become super tech. A big con from working this side-the training comes hard and fast, and your "apprenticeship" lasts not five years, not five months, but five weeks before you are in the van and on your own. I suspect larger outfits are probably better about training and expectations. I must admit I know a lot more and can perform a lot more than three months ago.

You never stop training or learning in this business, I learn something new everyday. Without both sides it’s hard to say why it didn’t work for you, but now with some experience you can find something new that works at your pace.

So you wanna say which manufacturer it is now? I was guessing one of the made in China brands since they seem to becoming more scarce around here. It's probably not you. They are just going out of business soon like many before them.

Well they're Korean, and I have to say the units are pretty decent, though not True or Traulsen quality. Some funny quirks though and design issues that guarantee work for some years down the road.
