    Nice work all around. I have a Marathon tank that was here when I bought the house. It was installed in '92, so I can tell you, they last. I don't have the benefit of the lifetime warranty as the second owner and not sure I could afford another one if it failed right now, but definitely a good water heater.

    We can't pipe PRVs with more than one 90 here, has to go into a funnel before you can pipe it to a drain.

    no need to suspend the expansion tank somewhere? it may pull on your lines and solder joints
