Can anyone help me in Clarksburg WV ?

A friend of mine just died suddenly in Clarksburg WV. One of his furnaces had failed before that and we had casually discussed me visiting to repair it.

Now that he's gone, and I can't get there soon enough, and it's just his wife left to deal with things, I'd like to have someone trustworthy get involved.

So? Anybody work in Clarksburg ?

    Thanks.

He and I used to talk pretty much every day for many years. I don't have another friend like that.

    Jeff,

Your HVAC-Talk Forum profile has no contact information.

    Mine does.

Can you contact me via email, or that private-message function on this forum, so we can make this thing happen?

    BTW:

Site details have changed a bit. I got Steve's wife to check: the diagnosis was for a defective heat exchanger.

Almost certainly the existing unit is oversized for the actual heat loss - so it's not much wonder where the HX went. <g>
