    Now Hiring Experienced Techs in Houston, TX

    As a Service Technician, you will be required to service and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related environmental control systems utilizing your knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory. You will work with pneumatic controls, digital controls, pumps, steam and hot water systems, large and small reciprocating, screw and centrifugal compressors (air-cooled & water cooled chillers and DX systems).

    HVAC Technician Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate ability to work safely using common practices and procedures. Report any injuries or accidents to supervisor immediately.
    • Possess good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure effective teamwork and an excellent customer experience.
    • Effectively diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, refrigerant and hydronic components of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems in a timely manner.
    • Maintain high level of understanding for maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and industrial applications.
    • Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
    • Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of customers.
    • Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
    • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
    • Maintain good communication to supervisor and submit time on a daily basis.
    • Document all equipment provided with service, including: make, model, serial number, power, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
    • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
    • Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for added value and additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).

    Requirements

    • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
    • Five or more years’ experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting HVAC service issues.
    • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics and manuals.
    • Ability to work independently and with team members to perform services in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

    Qualifications

    • Well groomed, neat appearance.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    • Valid social security number.
    • Must be able to pass drug and criminal background test.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
    • Observe and perform all company procedures and safety rules.

    Hello,
    The company is Letsos. We are well established commercial/ industrial service company.
    Wages for a journeyman are 33/ hour and up depending on experience and skill set.
