    The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman.

    Isolate compressor and transfer your refrigerant over to the evaporator. You can remove the plug but will likely see some oil there. Have a small can/bucket ready to catch the oil. Clean the threads and apply 567 locktite and a new oring then reinstall bolt. Vacuum compressor and open the valves. If you loose more than half a pint of oil I’d add that amount back into the system
