I am paid about double serviceman scale, but only get the BTJ benefits when on a job that qualifies. Still a pretty good deal in my opinion, just not as good as Buttwheat’s local.
You also have BTJ there too, my company has a few 26 journeyman. In 32 we hav MES also that’s how I came in.

What is your point in posting a old contract for the local 26 tradesmen and MES?

Last time I asked at the hall in Burlington, it was a few years ago, I was told there was one BTJ in our local, at least in my northern branch. Maybe there’s more now. Either way... as a serviceman making well over scale, my pay and benefits are far better than any other company in the county offers. I do jobs that get me classified as BTJ about 25% of the time and I’ll get more as I get more seniority.
